Amanda: 

Amanda has loved horses from a young age, already as a four year old she started riding on the villages riding school, in Höllviken, south of Sweden. From the day she first put her foot in the barn she was begging her (then) non-horsey parents for a pony. Eight years later, at the age of twelve she eventually got one and that´s when her eventing days started. A few years years later she managed to win silver medal at the Swedish Champs and joined the Swedish pony- and junior- teams. 

After finishing an equine collage 2015 she moved from Sweden to the UK where she based herself with Tim and Jonelle Price. During her three years at the Price´s she had an amazing Irish horse, with  whom she went to the European Championships at Millstreat 2017 and competed up to Advanced level.  

Rafael:

Escaping his house and all the homework to go to the yard and the horses was an incident that kept happening in the Losano´s house when Rafa grew up. He did everything he could to spend time with the big, beautiful animals, weather it was on his farm on the cowboy horses or the riding school. Rafa was brought up in the state of Sao Paolo, Brazil, in a village called Rio Claro. 

After a few exciting meetings with Sir Mark Todd, who was then teaching the Brazilian eventing team, Rafa realised that there was a lot more to explore in the eventing world. At the age of 17 he flew, with his horse, to America to spend a few months with Clayton Fredericks in America, later the same year he ended up at Sir Mark Todd´s farm, in the south west of England.

Since he moved to England he´s taken a few different horses to 4* level eventing. He´s currently got an amazing mare going to the Pan American games in Peru this summer. Exciting times....!! 

Badgerstown:

Since the  beginning of 2018 R & A Equestrian have been based at Sir Mark Todd´s beautiful farm, Badgerstown, on the rolling hills of Wiltshire. They´ve got a lovely barn with 10 big stables and fantastic turn out. They also have access to a horse walker, cross country schooling field, a large all-weather arena and gallopp track, both with great footing. Not to forget to mention the beautiful hacking just around the corner, with the ridgeway a couple of hundreds of meters away.
